Tennis Coaching Weekend

Sun, fun and improvement at tennis weekend

Lewes tennis players were joined by visiting players from Townsend Tennis Club, St Albans Hertfordshire for a highly enjoyable, intensive weekend of tennis coaching. Events ranged from improving basics such as backhand, serve and volley to doubles and singles tactics and maximising performance at the net.

Coaching was fun and focused on individual needs. Video analysis added benefit - and amusement! Each area of each participant's game was filmed and analysed by the coaches, with a DVD to take home.

Our highly qualified and experienced coaches managed the range of abilities so that everyone enjoyed and gained. Each day there was a delicious BBQ and time just to relax in the sunshine and beautiful surroundings. The weekend was rounded off by a fun 'American' tournament.

As participant Martin Carpenter put it, "This was a thoroughly rewarding weekend of tennis - good coaching, good company, topped up with fantastic weather in the beautiful setting of the Southdown Sports Club!"
