Move, stretch, strengthen, learn to relax and de-stress – this class is a complete body and mind tonic – a perfect way to begin your New Year.
Robin, the class instructor, has been practising yoga for over 25 years and teaching for 18. She says “You don’t have to be flexible to try yoga, but your body and especially your back needs you to stretch and yoga is the best way to free up your range of motion and improve your quality of life as well as the sport you play.”
Robin’s teaching style is warm and encouraging and her classes focus on deep release, breathing and stretching using held Yin poses and flowing postures, drawing students gently out of their comfort zone to bring about change, whether it be physical or mental.
Wednesdays 8pm – 9.30pm and Fridays 9.30am – 11.00am with Karen Dodd
“Stretch for less stress” yoga classes for beginners with mindful movement, breath awareness and gentle relaxation. The classes are fun, friendly and very gentle.
Karen Dodd has been practising yoga for over 20 years and is now a trainee teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga.
The classes run as a 10 week course costing £50 per course (£5 per lesson) or £7 for drop in sessions. First class is free!
