Airdome is inflated

Bubble Opening

It was quite a sight to see the Bubble inflated on Monday!  Following a little more electrical work, painting of lines, and setting up nets it will be open for play from the 16th January (or with luck, from Saturday the 14th – check with reception or the website).  The acrylic court surface that will be even better to play on will be added when weather is warm enough to apply it. Meanwhile, at least players are assured of a game without disturbance from wind and rain. Members who want a regular game during off-peak times can block book a covered court to the end of March when the Bubble comes down. Booking details are on the club’s website and at reception.

Opening Ceremony

Sunday, the 26th February at 2.00 p.m.

All members and their friends and family are invited to the Opening Ceremony on Sunday, the 26th February at 2.00 p.m.

Local and LTA dignitaries will be there to make this a very special occasion for the club. They include Clare Wood, former British No. 1 and currently responsible for the planning, organisation and management of the Olympic and Paralympic Tennis events in 2012.

More details will be available soon.
