Head Coach

Stephen has played squash since the age of 10 and twice been a member of the Southdown Club before returning as Head Squash Coach in September 2019. He established Downs View Squash Academy in 2013 and has been instrumental in developing the growth of the sport at The Southdown Club and venues in Uckfield and Nutley. Energetic and highly enthusiastic, he achieved England Squash Level Three status in 2020.

Finn

Coach

Level two coach and one of the youngest to achieve an accredited England Squash coaching qualification at just two days after his sixteenth birthday. He also won the prestigious England Squash Young Coach of the Year Award in 2016, being presented with his award at the British Open. Finn is experienced beyond his years and hugely popular with all players.

Squash Team

The Southdown Club and Lewes Squash club are fortunate to have the experience of Stephen and Finn Holliday leading their coaching programme. Having established Downs-View-Squash-Academy they offer group and individual sessions for juniors, men and ladies. The primary objective of the academy is to develop and expand squash by offering a range of affordable and enjoyable activities catering to different standards and ages. They are equally adept at coaching elite players as they are encouraging and nurturing complete beginners.
