Health & Wellbeing Team

Our gym may be compact but it offers everything required to improve your health and wellbeing. Our aim is to offer a safe space, whilst encouraging people of all ages and abilities to come and exercise.

Our suite contains a range of cardiovascular and resistance machinery including treadmills, bikes and a cross trainer. Our friendly site ensures that the gym setting is not intimidating and welcomes all comers, whether returning to exercise, a regular gym goer or stepping through the gym door for the first time.

The health, wellbeing and safety of all our members is our number one priority. It is an excellent space to use if rehabilitating from injury.

We are passionate about offering a range of activities that suit your needs and are fortunate enough to have highly qualified and experienced health professionals delivering their services from our site.

I work mainly on a 1:1 basis with clients of all ages and ability. I occasionally work with children under the age of 16, clients coming back from injuries, people with learning disabilities and older clients. I bring energy and fun to all my sessions and I love a challenge.

I trained in Pilates in 1997 with Michael King, the founder of the Pilates Institute. I subsequently completed my Pilates Reformer education with Stott Pilates. I am  passionate about the efficacy of Pilates as a tool for the full spectrum of applications:  from rehabilitation to athletic performance, and this is reflected in the wide range of levels of classes that I offer at the Southdown Club, where I am exclusively based.
